ROBERTO BAGGIO
Roberto BaggioBorn in Caldogno (VI) in 1967 where he’s currently living, in 1993 he won the Ballon d’Or. He’s the second Vicentine to gain the Oscar of Football after PAOLO ROSSI who is Vicentine by adoption and by residence, despite being native of Prato (Tuscany).

Although a lot of problems, injuries and some not-so-good relationships with coaches who confined him on the bench, Roberto Baggio was crucial in his last 3 World Cup: Italy ‘90, USA ‘94 and France ‘98. Thanks to his performance and to his iconic “codino” (ponytail), Roberto Baggio is one of the most famous and well-known footballer in the world.
