Europe’s roots are made of art, ideas and extraordinary meetings between foreign cultures. The Basilica Palladiana welcomes the exhibition Italy Germany, first project of trilogy titled Ispirazione Europa. Through a selection of nearly 150 works – including paintings, sculptures, photographs, works on paper, and documents – the exhibition welcomes masterpieces by absolute masters such as Antonio Canova, Giorgio de Chirico, Franz von Stuck, Arnold Böcklin, Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carrà, Gino Severini, Emil Nolde, Felice Casorati, Otto Dix, Vasilij Kandinskij, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Joseph Beuys, Emilio Vedova, Gerhard Richter, Anselm Kiefer.

Free entrance: minors under 6 years old, accredited journalist (with a press ID), authorised tour guides with a license, people with disabilities and respective accompanying person, 1 tour leader per group, 2 teachers per school group, valid ICOM – International Council of Museums card owners.
