parco_cappellerPicnic areas, playgrounds, space dedicated to mammals, reptiles and birds.

CAPPELLER MUSEUM

Opened in 2009 in honour of the bicentenary of the birth of Charles Darwin (1809-1882), supporter of the “Natural selection” theory, with which he claims that men derive from monkeys. Thanks to life-size replicas it will be possible to unravel the “mystery” of evolution from the Australopithecus afarensis to the Homo sapiens.

THE VILLAGE OF GNOMES

villaggio_gnomiThe Village was founded thanks to the arrival of small, wise creatures from the North, that chose the “Pöslen Woods” as their ideal home: a magical place in the park of the Hotel da Barba.
Spend an exciting day guided by our operators along a path unfolding through a pristine environment, a dense fir forest and lush pastures and breathe some “fairy good” air while exploring ancient galleries and the magical, mysterious and animated world of the gnomes.

It is said that gnomes live hidden in their woods, love silence and animals: one of them is called Siben and is the symbol of the Asiago Plateau.
It will be a magical adventure to the delight of all children and a chance to relax for everyone else, surrounded by the suggestive world of nature, history and magic.
You will find a large playground with trampoline, football pitch, volleyball, swings, table tennis, a solarium with sun beds and paid electric karts.
You can also relax by participating to the Gnomes’ paint workshop.

OASI WWF DI CASALE

The ponds of this oasis are one of the last damp areas of this territory: a real oasis in a desert of concrete.
The ponds and wetlands that make up the oasis are the result of past clay excavation activities.
In the last decades, the abandonment of the excavation sites has created the perfect conditions for the progressive colonisation of the area by the typical vegetation of the wetlands. The presence of holes of different size and depth favoured the interesting environmental diversification, so that currently the area appears as a mosaic of perpetually flooded surfaces, devoid of vegetation, areas covered in marshy herbaceous vegetation (reeds, in particular), willow trees, bushes, uncultivated ruderal meadows and rural hedges.

LA MONTAGNA SPACCATA

It is a rocky formation tightly linked to the Small Dolomites. It dates back to the Late Triassic, about two hundred million years ago, when the land of the Recoaro valley were submerged by the waters of the Thetis sea. The deep fissure that splits the mountain in two was dug into the rock by the Torrazzo stream.
This place is famous for its legends on mysterious female sea creatures called the “anguane” (creatures from the Alpine mythology, similar to nymphs or water fairies). It is easier to come across these beings at night and if there is water nearby: that is when the “anguane” come out with their baskets to wash clothes, but beware, for these creatures are fickle and dangerous. They could appear with their long, swaying hair and bewitching shapes, to drag you to the bottom of their pit or puddle and hold you prisoner forever.

ACROPARK

Even the Asiago Plateau has its own Acropark: joining the Acropark family last, it has already become a well-known destination for the lovers of strong emotions.
The Big Zip route will leave you speechless: it has a 348mt zip-line system passing through the vegetation and over the small Lonoba Lake, giving unparalleled sensations. As if that were not enough, there are four other routes, from the easiest ones, like “Kid Explorer” and “Junior Adventure”, to the “Emotion” route and the challenging “Braves only” route.
Since it also cares for the environment and the history of the territory, upon request Acropark organises guided walks towards the Voragine di Stonaus, visits to the Museum of the Great War and the Bostel Archaeological site, as well as orienteering and rock climbing lessons.
After all these activities, people can also relax along the banks of the swimming pond, equipped with sun beds, beach umbrellas and a beach volley court.

PARCO DEL SOJO

parcodelsojoNature, art, history and tradition. A new relationship between modern sculpture and environmental protection.
‘Parco del Sojo” is located in Lusiana, in the southern outskirts of the Asiago Plateau. It is an innovative attraction, created with the aim of promoting an area of great environmental, historical and artistic interest.
The integration of modern sculptures inside the natural environment lets you experience space and time on a different level.
The 3-km-long itinerary twists and turns through meadows, paths and woods.
The park hosts about 50 installations, it takes 2 hours to see them all, and it is a medium difficulty route. The stretch is free of charge, visitable at any time of the year. Easily reachable by your own car.

ALPENISE ADVENTURE PARK

Located in one of the most suggestive areas of Mount Grappa, surrounded by a breath-taking landscape, from the Brenta valley to the Dolomites. This is the Alpenise Adventure park!
A thrilling experience in complete safety, immersed in the lights and shadows of the forests, pixies, roe deer and wild animals.
Didactic, naturalistic and animated workshops are also available, as well as the possibility of stay for schools, groups and associations.

OASI DI CROSARA - IL BOSCO MAGICO

www.boscomagico.it
HOW TO REACH THE OASIS

The “Bosco Magico" (Enchanted Forest) is a naturalistic area close to the bed of the Brenta river, where the young artist Roberto Costa, from Nove, has created an itinerary with a series of installations.
It is about a path that winds through forests and clearings, in which fairy-tale creatures made of wood have been arranged.
Every site has a specific name and the personifications are based on children’s favourite animals, pixies and fairies. Every element contributes to create a wondrous and exciting itinerary.

PERCORSO EXCALIBUR

Built around 1995 and 1996 under the initiative of the Montana Alto Astico Community and the Municipality of Tonezza, in collaboration of Veneto Agricoltura – Regional agency of the Forests of the Veneto Region, the Excalibur route is a 2-hour-long path. Every year it welcomes school groups and many individual visitors. It is a loop itinerary located in “La pontara”, west of Tonezza, and winds along meadows and pastures, in an area encircled by fir and beech tree woods.
For this reason, the path is the perfect educational itinerary for school groups, since it allows them to discover the landscape of the Veneto pre-Alps and to recognise the presence of man on the mountains, (given the fact that some of the old districts are still well preserved). In addition to anthropological and naturalistic aspects, the Excalibur route is perfect to explain to children the role of the Tonezza Plateau during the First World War, since it left some signs along the path, such as a fortress and a trench, both open to the public. 10 stops are planned, each of them offering educational-recreational activities: Le dolci linee del paesaggio; Il “vecchio Faggio”; I sorprendenti Larici; La “Contrà Vallà”; La “Valle dei ciliegi”; Il fortino; Le antiche cave; La sorgente; Dentro la trincea; Incontro con il Bosco.

IL PRUNNO

In addition to the Lama trekking, Agility Forest, Nordic Walking, Mountain bike and Orienteering, at the Prunno it is possible to enjoy nature, the relax area, the playground, the fitness itinerary, the cottages and snack bars with local products.
A clearing in the woods with a chalet, a playground, a suspended treetop path, barnyard animals and other activities.

AGILITY FOREST

Suspended treetop paths inside the Brigata Regina Park. One path can be found in the Prunno too.

PERCORSO DIDATTICO FORESTALE DELLA VAL DI NOS

CALLE DI VENERE

www.calledivenere.it

calledivenereThe LandArt Calledivenere group was founded in the silence of the undergrowth of the Park of the Calvene waterfalls back in 2010.

In this place art, passion and game work together to create discreet installations that blend perfectly with the natural environment.

In the Waterfalls Park, the artist breaks the mold by transforming the area in an open-air art gallery, where nature greatly influences the works and makes them evolve over time.
What the visitors see today in the park will be different from what they will see tomorrow.
