Saturday 17th May from 6 pm - the appointed European Night of Museums - the Museums of Vicenza open their doors for an extraordinary evening of secrets and adventure. A unique event that will transform your visit into an exciting puzzle hunt between works of art and hidden treasures.
The entrance ticket will have a special cost of 1 euro per museum.

MUSEI APERTI
The Galleries of Palazzo Thiene and the Church of Santa Corona remain open for visits until 10 pm. The Civic art Gallery of Palazzo Chiericati and the Palladian Basilica are open until 11 pm. Inside the Basilica, people can visit the exhibition "Theatricality", hosted in the Council Hall. The terrace with bar service is open from 6pm to 11pm (exceptionally, admission is included in the special "Night of the Museums" ticket).
The Diocesan Museum, the Jewellery Museum and the Palladio Museum are also open until 10 pm.
The Gallerie d'Italia - Vicenza will be open from 20 to 24, for self-guided visits. At 8.30 pm is scheduled a theatrical performance in Italian, result of a theatre workshop created by young students on the work of Bertos.
The Archaeological area of Corte dei Bissari and Roman Cryptoporticus are accessible only with guided tours. Last admission in all locations 30 minutes before closing. In each place available to visitors there will be an itinerary "Night of the Mystery" with some works to discover and a specific brochure (in Italian only).

The special "Night of Museums" ticket for each location of the Civic Museums can be bought up on the same evening, starting from 6 pm, at Tourist information office in Piazza Matteotti and at the Infopoint inside the Palladian Basilica. The special "Night of Museums" ticket for each of the four partner museums is collected at their respective locations.
