The Racing silk of the Rafts is been born like competition between village of Valstagna, than compete for a prestigious racing silk competing itself on waters of the Brenta in an evocative and panoramic feature.

Discover again one of the Brenta and some activities tied to the life of the valley dwellers in the past: fluctuation of the lumber and its commerce, saw and mill, mallets, to paper-factory and spinning-wheel. Before with the menade then with the rafts they have been written secular history pages and zattiere constituted the hard trade of great part of the population of Valstagna, Oliero, Saint Nazario and Campolongo.

The manifestation devised from Pro Loco in 1987, has had in the years a large one happening with the participation of thousand of tourists, than they enjoy the drunkness the event, assisting to the show of the historical corteo that is carried out along the ways of Valstagna, accompanied from several figuring and from the variopinte contrade with you respect customs to you.

The crew of the Rafts is formed from three zattieri and one bridesmaid.

Normally contrade the participants are nine.
