Palladio by the hand is an event promoted by Tourist Promotion Consortium Vicenza è, together with the Provincial Administration, in the 10th Anniversary of the inscription of the villas by Andrea Palladio in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Palladio by the hand is valid from 15th April until 1st October 2006, every Saturday and Sunday.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON
VICENZA HISTORICAL CENTRE AND VISIT TO THE VILLAS
2.00 pm: Meeting point Tourist Information Office (Piazza Matteotti 12, Vicenza)
Tour: Teatro Olimpico, Palazzo Chiericati, Casa Cogollo (called Casa Palladio), Palazzo Barbaran Da Porto, Basilica Palladiana, Cathedral
4.00 pm: Departure by bus from Viale Roma (Vicenza) to reach the villas
Tour: Villa Capra called "La Rotonda" (arch. Andrea Palladio) in Vicenza
Villa Cordellina Lombardi (arch. Giorgio Massari, frescoes by G.B. Tiepolo) in Montecchio Maggiore.
6.00 pm: END OF THE VISIT
SUNDAY MORNING
THE VILLAS OF PALLADIO IN THE NORTHERN VICENZA AND MAROSTICA (transfers by bus)
9.00 am: Meeting point Viale Roma (Vicenza) and departure by bus
Tour: Villa Caldogno in Caldogno, Villa Godi Malinverni in Lugo, Castello Inferiore and Piazza degli Scacchi in Marostica
12.00 am: FREE LUNCH. ON REQUEST, RETURN TO VICENZA
SUNDAY AFTERNOON
BASSANO BY THE HAND AND... GRAPPA!
2.00 pm: Meeting point Tourist Information Office (Largo Corona d'Italia 35, Bassano)
Tour: Viale dei Martiri, Ponte Vecchio, the squares in the historical centre, museums
4.30 pm: Visit to Poli Distillery in Schiavon with grappa tasting (only for who comes back to Vicenza)
6.00 pm: END OF THE VISIT
