Given a free week-end, how many of us would like to have a quick, well-organised, clear and exhaustive handbook to our beautiful region, explaining where to find everything and providing additional information?
Then this is what you need: a guide to food and wine in the Veneto region, a valuable ready-to-use handbook, the fruit of collaboration between Touring Club Italiano and PromoVeneto, the tourism promotion consortium of the Chamber of Commerce of Belluno, Padua, Verona and Vicenza.

10,000 copies have been printed and distributed to bookshops through the usual channels for Touring Club publications. This guide is intended to accompany the tourist and visitor to the heart of the four provinces of Veneto, providing useful information covering every aspect of your visit or stay.

Extensive space is indeed dedicated to wining and dining, but there are also sections dedicated to the typical products from each area, local recipes and DOC and DOCG wines, described in practical information sheets; an indispensable food and wine calendar is provided, along with high quality hotels and restaurants, but also simple eating places and tourist offices.
However, we know that a guide must offer something extra to make it different form the others and here indeed the handbook is equipped with detailed maps of the four provinces of Belluno, Padua, Verona and Vicenza, a thematic map of the Palladian villas and to conclude the 13 "Food and Wine Routes ", to ensure a very special week-end.
